Darrell was born and raised in downtown Dallas, TX, in the same year that the Dallas Cowboys were born! He started with RevLocal in January of 2019 and has over 8 years' experience in digital marketing. His background includes over 20 years in recruiting and sales and those include nine years in college athletics as a men's basketball coach at all levels.

It's not "what" he does that drives him, though. It is "why" he does it that makes him so passionate about his role with RevLocal. He is HIGHLY motivated by servant leadership and the never-ending hunt for the perfect basketball game (he coached college basketball for a decade), but now his mission is to help business owners win the war for their customer's attention, outpace their competition and capture a ridiculously unfair share of market audience.

He has seen the results of RevLocal's partnership with local businesses to not only help them thrive, but in some cases, help them go from survival mode to truly winning. He prides himself on establishing and furthering relationships with business owners, and his perspective allows him to make the best recommendations to help grow local small businesses in Denton County and beyond. There are hundreds of other "digital marketing" agencies out there, but he loves what sets RevLocal apart: the culture, the customized plans to help business owners and results-driven platforms.

He resides in Flower Mound, toward the southern end of Denton County, with his wife of over 30 years, Penny, a flight attendant with American Airlines. He is the proud father of two adult daughters: Hannah and Addison, and Mo, an athletic Australian Shepherd. He has been to 31 foreign countries and counts his trip to Paris as his favorite site of all. He enjoys movies, theater, music and is a fan of all sports. He also does triathlon training, maintaining a regimen of running about 20 miles, riding over 60 miles and swimming a couple of miles per week.
