Granville, OH — May 10, 2019 — RevLocal, the leader in personalized digital marketing, is proud to announce that it has received third place among all Licking County businesses in the 2019 Operation Feed Campaign.
Every year, The Food Pantry Network of Licking County holds the Operation Feed Campaign with the goal of raising money and awareness for people and families in need. According to The Food Pantry Network, funds from Licking County residents and employees are distributed to member pantries and social service organizations that supply emergency meals for people who are hungry.
Like years past, RevLocal employees were divided into two “competing” groups, led respectively by CEO, Marc Hawk, and President, Aaron Boggs. Although the race to raise the most money was extremely close, Team Aaron was once again triumphant.
At the annual Operation Feed Celebration Luncheon, participating businesses and organizations were eligible to receive awards ranging from overall participation to the amount of food item points raised.
Overall, RevLocal raised over $11,000 for The Food Pantry Network of Licking County, which in turn provided roughly 141,500 meals to those in need and brought home the Grand Gourmet Award for third place overall.
The Grand Gourmet Award is awarded to the top companies and organizations that raise more than 100,000 food item points.
