At RevLocal, we firmly believe in giving back! Two of our core values, “Going Beyond” and “Helping Someone,” reflect this belief.  We’re thrilled to announce our continued involvement Pelotonia, a local non-profit organization that has raised over $258 million for cancer research at The Ohio State University’s Comprehensive Cancer Center. The impact of this is felt by cancer centers and researchers all over the world! 

What sets Pelotonia apart is that they combine people’s love of helping others through fundraising with their love of cycling. Each year, Pelotonia celebrates with a culminating, massive bike ride that brings together thousands of riders, volunteers, survivors, and supporters together to celebrate the money raised.

For the last five years, a dedicated group of RevLocal employees has choosen to pariticpate in this worthy cause, raising money alongside other businesses and organizations across Ohio. Thanks to the efforts of our riders and the support of RevLocal Cares, our company's organized giving program, we have raised a total of $145,247. This year, we hope to break the $200,000 milestone!

The distance a rider can ride is determined by the amount of money they agree to raise, ranging from 25 to 184 miles. From organized raffles, cornhole tournaments, our annual dunk tank, tee-shirt sales, auctions, and friends and family contributions, our riders met their fundraising goals in 2022 and rode over 1,066 miles.

The RevLocal culture is one that celebrates each other while supporting others outside of the organization; all of our riders wouldn’t be successful without this belief and without the belief that giving back is paramount. We are proud of our riders’ efforts to raise money for cancer research.

Join us in 2023 as we celebrate our riders as they work towards their goal of collectively reaching $200,000 and train for their annual ride, taking place the weekend of August 5^th.
